Meet Our Team

Here at Blue Mountains Animal Rehabilitation Centre we are dedicated to providing the best possible service and care for your pets. All of our therapists are Qualified Canine Hydrotherapists that have completed post graduate training in hydrotherapy and rehabilitation and continue to study and pursue further qualifications.

Jennie Frost

Veterinary Hydrotherapist & Clinic Owner

 

Jennie originally started her career with a BSc (Hons) degree in Veterinary Nursing and Practice Administration from the University of Bristol (UK) in 2007.

 

Since graduating she has continued further education gaining post graduate qualifications in Companion Animal Behaviour, Canine Hydrotherapy (certificate and Advanced Diploma) and more recently studying for the Internationally recognised CCRP with VAHL and University of Tennessee.

​Following a trip to Australia in 2011 she returned to veterinary practice as a practice manager and successfully owned and managed a small animal practice in the south west. Missing the hands-on contact she decided to undergo further training in Hydrotherapy and Rehabilitation and completed a Certificate and Advanced Diploma in Hydrotherapy at Hawksmoor Hydrotherapy Centre.

 

Jennie grew up in the countryside of the South West UK riding and competing in Eventing and Dressage and Agility, Heelwork  and Gundog sports with her Springer Spaniel and Labrador. After falling in love with Australia during a working holiday in 2011 she emigrated permanently with her husband and young son in January 2017. Since settling in the beautiful Blue Mountains she has continued to surround herself with animals now including a Springer Spaniel (Koa), Working Cocker Spaniel (Islay), a bearded dragon, 10 chickens and 1 naughty Welsh Mountain pony!

Jennie has also completed further training in agility instruction, canine kinesiology (rock) taping, massage and physical therapy (including laser therapy).

Dana Weidenhofer

BHSc (Sp&ExSc), Cert. Hydrotherapy, Cert. Massage Therapy, CCMT

Hydrotherapist

 

Dana has always had a real passion and love for dogs. After completing

a Bachelor of Health Science (Sport and Exercise) at the University of Western Sydney she started a career in sport working with sports teams in performance analytics. 

 

In 2024, she made the career change to canine rehabilitation, completing a Certificate in Canine Hydrotherapy and a Certificate in Canine Remedial Massage through the Canine Health and Wellbeing Academy. Whilst completing these certificates, Dana joined the Blue Mountains Animal Rehabilitation Centre team and loves being apart of your fury friends journey to a happy and healthy life.

Kasey Mooy

Cert IV. VN, Cert. Hydrotherapy

Hydrotherapist

 

Kasey has been working in the horse racing industry since 2020, focusing on equine rehabilitation and veterinary care. Over the years, she has gained extensive hands on experience and completed her Certificate IV in Veterinary Nursing, a Certificate in Equine Sports Massage and Stretch Exercise and a Certificate in Photobiomodulation for Horses. She is also a qualified Equine Performance Analyst with a strong understanding of horse data, helping her monitor performance, recovery and overall wellbeing.

Recently Kasey has expanded her focus to include dogs. Completing her Canine Hydrotherapy Certificate through the Canine Health and Wellbeing Academy. She plans to continue her education with an Advanced Canine and Hydrotherapy Certificate, as well as further studies in small animal myofascial therapy.

 

In 2025 Kasey welcomed her first born
daughter and she now enjoys spending her time away from work with her partner, daughter and their cheeky siberian husky.
