Sadly we very frequently see injuries such as sprains/strains, disc/spinal issues and muscle damage as a result of canine sports. It is vital that any dog participating in these disciplines is conditioned in advance to avoid injury and unnecessary strain on the body.
A key part of this is understand your dog's individual body, shape and natural gait and movement so that we can understand their strengths and weaknesses. During our conditioning sessions we assess your dog as they move and try to use videos to help us design a suitable fitness programme. This will usually include a combination of hydrotherapy, massage and conditioning exercises both in the clinic and at home. You do not need to purchase any specialist equipment but we can cater your programme to anything you do have.
